Buy Last Whisper when enemy Armor has started reducing your physical damage and you are committed to a percent-penetration upgrade.

- Physical marksmen, AD casters, and other carries whose damage must reach armored frontliners.
- Good against
- Strong against tanks, armor boots, and multiple Armor purchases; inefficient into an entirely low-Armor team early.
- When to buy it
- Usually after core damage is established, often as the path into a third-item penetration purchase; buy earlier only into fast Armor stacking.
