Best on

AD fighters, assassins, and marksmen that can later use Maw of Malmortius.

Good against

Strong against fed AP assassins and burst mages such as Akali, Evelynn, Fizz, or Kennen; wasteful into physical-heavy teams.

When to buy it

Early emergency defense or a mid-game component before Maw. Do not buy it merely for light incidental magic damage.
