Build Statikk Shiv when spreading on-hit effects through Energized chain lightning improves multi-target damage.

Best on: Hybrid and on-hit attackers such as Kai'Sa and Varus, whose kits can use its Attack Damage, Ability Power, and Attack Speed.
Good against: Useful against grouped teams and waves; fewer nearby targets reduce the value of its bouncing lightning.
When to buy it: A first-item option for Kai'Sa and Varus before Guinsoo's Rageblade, or a later purchase after another compatible on-hit source. It grants no base Critical Strike Chance.
