Kha'Zix Jungle Wild Rift Guide
Kha'Zix jungle counters include Rammus and Skarner. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3.
How to play
- Hunt enemies who are alone Your first ability hits harder when your target is away from their teammates and minions.
- Keep farming between ganks Look for safe picks around your camps instead of chasing enemies through a grouped team.
- Save your jump when you can Use your ultimate to become invisible and approach, then save your 3rd ability to jump after an escaping target or get out.
Strengths
- His isolation burst deletes any lone target, making him the best punisher of overextended lanes, solo invaders, and split objectives.
- Evolved Wings (3rd) resets his leap on takedowns, so once that upgrade is online one pick chains into the next and a single early kill can snowball the map.
- Evolutions let him tailor the threat (range, stealth, spike) to the enemy, while his spike heal keeps his clear fast.
Weaknesses
- He is single-target and squishy, so a grouped team that denies isolation leaves him a fragile skirmisher with nothing to one-shot.
- Hard crowd control shuts him down, since a stun or root pins his leap and his low health folds fast.
- His power runs on a clock: if early picks do not land, tanks and scalers eventually make isolated targets impossible to find.

Kha'Zix Jungle Counters
Who counters Kha'Zix Jungle in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Kha'Zix in the jungle matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.
- Rammus: Leaping onto Rammus drops you into a taunt and a ball of reflected armor, so your squishy frame folds to the very damage you deal while he holds you in place.
- Skarner: Ixtal's Impact (3rd) can pin your leap against terrain, while Impale (Ult) suppresses you before a takedown can reset it. If your team follows the dive, Skarner can catch up to three of you in the same cast and end the reset chain before it starts.
Champions Kha'Zix Is Strong Against
Kha'Zix's best matchups in Wild Rift. Kha'Zix holds an edge against these picks in the jungle role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.
- Kindred: Kindred is a squishy kiter with no lockdown to stop your leap, so catching her alone means a clean isolation kill, with only her ultimate standing between you and the reset.
- Taliyah: Taliyah needs range and her wall to function, and your leap closes that gap onto a fragile frame. Once her Seismic Shove (2nd) and Flash are down, she has no answer to your jump.
- Nidalee: A missed Javelin Toss (1st) leaves Nidalee isolated, which turns Taste Their Fear (1st) into Kha'Zix's full isolation burst. Leap (3rd) follows her Pounce (2nd), so switching to Aspect of the Cougar (Ult) does not restore the distance her spear game needs.
Early Game
Your first clear is genuinely quick: the isolation bonus shreds buffs and big monsters, so you finish the full rotation with a tempo lead. Take scuttle on the way through, which puts you on level five, and then that tempo is what opens the hunt. While your camps respawn, find the lane that pushed too far, leap the wall onto the isolated target, and burst them before help arrives. Evolving Taste Their Fear (1st) first does not add raw damage; it adds attack and Q (1st) range and refunds 40% of Q's (1st) cooldown against isolated targets, improving repeated damage once a gank or objective fight lasts beyond the opening hit. Clear again when the camps are back and repeat. Contest Scuttle when the duel and nearby lane priority favor you. Against a stronger early fighter, give up the direct river contest and use tracking information to take the opposite crab or an exposed camp. An invade is valuable only when you can leave before the enemy lanes collapse, so keep Leap (3rd) available and do not trade your life for one buff.
Mid Game
Approach early objectives as opportunities to isolate a rotation, not as front-to-back brawls. Catch someone walking to dragon or Herald alone and the fight becomes a free five on four, which is worth doing whenever your team is ahead. In an even game take Herald and trade dragon away, since a tower suits your tempo better than a soul your comp may never cash in, though a team built to fight is a reason to flip that. Between objectives keep the loop tight: clear a camp, leap into a lane, kill the isolated carry, and use the takedown reset to leave; but only after evolving Leap (3rd). Hunt the enemy jungler on his own side and steal his camps while he clears, because letting the mid game stall hands the scalers the time they need to outgrow your single-target ceiling.
Late Game
Late game you are a backline removal tool, not a fight starter, so your fights begin from the fog with an enemy carry already isolated in your sights. Wait for them to drift a step from their peel, use Void Assault (Ult) to trigger Unseen Threat (Passive) and approach, then burst them and spend a remaining recast or an Evolved Wings (3rd) reset to escape before lockdown lands. Takedowns do not reset Void Assault (Ult). The enemy comp works against you now: a tank wall and a clustered team mean the isolation bonus rarely triggers, and one clean crowd-control chain ends you. Around Baron and the late dragons, look for the flank pick that thins their numbers before the real fight, since removing a carry before the engage does more than jumping into the middle of everyone. If they group and hold vision, your contribution is patience: find the one isolated mistake and punish it completely.
Teamfights
You are not in the opening clash, you are circling it. Let the engage happen, let their backline focus your frontline, then leap onto the carry the moment they stand a step too far from their support. The isolation bonus is the whole point, so the angle matters more than the timing: hunt the target with the fewest allies close by, not the closest one. Land the kill and your leap refreshes, letting you move to the next priority target instead of getting caught by their peel. Evolved stealth is your escape when a fight goes wrong, so vanish, reset your cooldowns, and re-enter rather than feeding your fragile body into their crowd control. If their formation holds tight and nobody isolates, do not force the dive; threaten the flank, make their carry flinch and reposition, and take the pick the instant their discipline slips.
