Corki Dragon Lane Wild Rift Guide
Corki Dragon lane counters include Caitlyn, Ashe, and Smolder. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3.
How to play
- Attack between your spells Use basic attacks between your 1st ability and ultimate casts instead of only poking from far away.
- Keep landing missiles on champions Hit champions with your ultimate missiles to earn a set of stronger missiles for the next fight.
- Save your dash for safety Save your 2nd ability to dash away when enemies get too close, and keep attacking from behind your team.
Strengths
- Phosphorus Bomb (1st), Gatling Gun (3rd), and a missile can land in a short window when allied control holds the target.
- His basic attacks and Spellblade hits add critical-strike-modified true damage, so armor does not answer that portion of his sustained follow-up.
- Valkyrie (2nd) gives him an escape most burst carries never get.
Weaknesses
- Mana hungry: a rotation spent carelessly leaves him with autos and nothing that threatens.
- No crowd control at all, so he depends completely on his support for lockdown and peel.
- His damage sits on cooldowns, so once the rotation is down he has to wait before he threatens anyone again.

Corki Dragon Lane Counters
Who counters Corki Dragon Lane in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Corki in the Dragon lane matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.
- Caitlyn: Caitlyn's basic-attack range and Headshot (Passive) punish Corki before Phosphorus Bomb (1st) can begin a full rotation, while Yordle Snap Traps (2nd) constrain his Valkyrie (2nd) path. Farm with missiles instead of spending health on each minion, preserve Valkyrie (2nd) for the trap-free exit, and contest her only after a Big One (Ult) or item spike gives the return trade enough reach.
- Ashe: Constant slows from Ashe make it hard to space around Valkyrie (2nd), and her volleys cost less mana than the rotations you answer with.
- Smolder: Smolder advances Dragon Practice (Passive) through Q (1st) last-hits while Corki's strongest Missile Barrage (Ult) and Gatling Gun (3rd) window is tied to earlier items and stored missiles. Pressure the stack walk-ups with Phosphorus Bomb (1st), spend the Package (Ult) spike at an objective, and end the quiet farm pattern before Smolder's burn and execute upgrades outgrow Corki's rotation.
Champions Corki Is Strong Against
Corki's best matchups in Wild Rift. Corki holds an edge against these picks in the Dragon lane role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.
- Draven: Draven has to catch axes and all-in, and your kit makes both expensive: the bomb punishes every axe reach, and Valkyrie (2nd) dashes out of the dive he commits to.
- Tristana: Tristana's all-in needs a target with no exit, and Valkyrie (2nd) gives you one. She loses the trading war on the way to a scaling fight that is roughly even.
- Kog'Maw: Phosphorus Bomb (1st) and Gatling Gun (3rd) give Corki a stronger early rotation before Kog'Maw has items to amplify Bio-Arcane Barrage (2nd), and Valkyrie (2nd) avoids the return slow from Void Ooze (3rd). Push the early wave, trade while Barrage (2nd) is inactive, and use that priority before Living Artillery (Ult) turns the lane into a range contest Corki no longer controls.
Corki Dragon Lane Synergies
The best duo partners for Corki in the Wild Rift Dragon lane role. The Dragon lane is a 2v2, so queue with one of these picks to make the lane and the mid game much easier.
- Nami: Tidecaller's Blessing (3rd) adds slow and damage to your runs, and her bubble covers your short range while Package (Ult) is down. Her bubble is also the setup that holds a target still for your full rotation.
- Karma: Inspire (3rd) gives the movement speed that makes Package (Ult) deliveries and kite-backs safe, and her poke stacks with yours to win the extended chip war your kit is built for.
- Rakan: His charm and knockup hold enemies still for your missiles, helping you earn a Package (Ult) and land its stronger shots. Follow his engage from a safe distance and keep Valkyrie (2nd) ready if enemies turn toward you.
Early Game
Trade when the enemy carry steps up for a last-hit and your support can cover the response. Land Phosphorus Bomb (1st), face Gatling Gun (3rd) through the target, and add basic attacks while the resistance reduction builds. Watch your mana and avoid using Missile Barrage (Ult) only to hit the wave when a Dragon-lane trade is likely. Keep Valkyrie (2nd) for an engage or gank unless a forward cast clearly secures the takedown.
Mid Game
Your spike opens once you have items and missiles banked. Missiles explode on the first enemy hit, so they do not pass over a frontline; use their area explosion or a flank angle to reach a carry. Track the six champion-hit package requirement and collect the dropped Package (Ult) before an objective when four consecutive Big Ones (Ult) will matter most.
Late Game
You are a burst carry who still has to keep attacking. Face Gatling Gun (3rd) through the frontline so its four resistance-reduction stacks improve the whole team's follow-up, and track whether the next R (Ult) is the normal missile or Big One (Ult) instead of saving an undefined special shot. Valkyrie (2nd) remains the escape unless a forward dash clearly secures the fight.
Teamfights
Start behind allied peel and damage the closest target while Gatling Gun (3rd) reduces armor and magic resistance. Use Missile Barrage (Ult) through open angles, tracking whether the next shot is a Big One (Ult). Hold Valkyrie (2nd) until an enemy commits a gap closer or until a protected forward position clearly secures the fight. Corki has no control to stop a diver, so preserve enough distance for the dash to create a real escape route.
