When Should You Build Bloodthirster?

Build Bloodthirster for high Attack Damage, attack-based Lifesteal, and an overheal shield when you can keep attacking.

Best on: AD carries and basic-attack fighters, including crit users whose other items supply their Critical Strike Chance.
Good against: Useful against poke and sustained damage; crowd control, burst, and Grievous Wounds can prevent Lifesteal recovery.
When to buy it: Buy early if sustain is necessary, or after a crit core if damage scaling takes priority.
