Sivir Dragon Lane Wild Rift Guide

Sivir Dragon lane counters include Jhin, Xayah, and Vayne. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3.

How to play

  • Hit both parts of your boomerang Your 1st ability deals damage on the way out and back. Move after throwing it so the returning blade also passes through the enemy.
  • Save your spell shield for a key ability Use your 3rd ability just before a hook, stun, or heavy spell hits to block it.
  • Use your ultimate with your team Help everyone chase an exposed enemy or move away from a bad fight.

Strengths

  • The best wave-clear in the role, turning every lane state into tempo and tower pressure.
  • Her spell shield blanks the enemy duo's key ability, breaking engage-reliant lanes with one button.
  • On the Hunt (Ult) combines a team-wide speed boost with shorter basic cooldowns and stacking personal attack damage, then grants more movement speed at maximum Morale.

Weaknesses

  • Short range for a marksman, with a quiet early trading game.
  • Modest trading power that concedes most direct 2v2 exchanges.
  • Ricochet (2nd) damage needs crowds; isolated duels are her worst format.

Sivir Dragon Lane Counters

Who counters Sivir Dragon Lane in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Sivir in the Dragon lane matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.

  • Jhin: Jhin's fourth shot is an auto attack and his root chains off any damage, so your shield only blocks one piece of his kit and his burst out-trades your short range all lane.
  • Xayah: Xayah's feathers control the ground Sivir wants to push from, and Featherstorm (Ult) can avoid Boomerang Blade (1st) or buy time during On the Hunt (Ult). Save Spell Shield (3rd) for Bladecaller's (3rd) damaging root instead of treating each recalled feather as a separate spell to block.
  • Vayne: Vayne's late game out-duels everything your tempo buys, and her tumble (1st) and true damage win the short-range fight once she reaches three items.

Champions Sivir Is Strong Against

Sivir's best matchups in Wild Rift. Sivir holds an edge against these picks in the Dragon lane role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.

  • Lucian: Lucian's burst rotation starts with a spell your shield eats, which cuts his trade short, and without early kills he falls off on his own.
  • Caitlyn: Caitlyn wants a slow control lane, but your shield eats her net and even her ultimate, and your wave-clear keeps her shoved under tower. A Caitlyn who cannot zone is just a long-range farmer.
  • Jinx: Jinx is immobile and needs farm to scale, and your wave-clear shoves her under tower and denies it. Your shield can also blank her chompers or a rocket.

Sivir Dragon Lane Synergies

The best duo partners for Sivir in the Wild Rift Dragon lane role. The Dragon lane is a 2v2, so queue with one of these picks to make the lane and the mid game much easier.

  • Leona: On The Hunt (Ult) turns her engage into a cavalry charge, and her lockdown gives your ricochets a stationary target. Spell Shield (3rd) covers the CC aimed back at you.
  • Rakan: Your ult accelerates his already absurd engage range, and his knockup holds the clump your Boomerang Blade (1st) and Ricochet (2nd) shred. A teamfight-starting duo from any distance.
  • Zilean: Double speed plus On The Hunt (Ult) makes the fastest duo in the game: you dictate every engage and disengage, and his revive turns your utility ult into two fights of value.

Early Game

Push first and profit everywhere. Shove the wave with ricochet (2nd), force the enemy duo to farm under tower, and use the tempo: your recalls cost less, your support can roam, and the river opens on your schedule. Hold your spell shield for the matchup's key ability; eating their hook or root swings the entire lane phase. You lose most direct trades, so the goal is a lane state that never offers them. Build Stormrazor first, or choose Yun Tal Wildarrows in that slot when you can farm safely and scale. Follow with Navori Quickblades for more frequent Ricochet (2nd) and Spell Shield (3rd), then Infinity Edge to strengthen the crit core. Bloodthirster comes later for sustain rather than delaying these early purchases.

Mid Game

Tempo turns into objectives. Your push reaches towers quickly, Spell Shield (3rd) breaks the single picks that start enemy fights, and On the Hunt (Ult) moves nearby allies into or out of a dragon contest. Keep hitting champions with attacks and abilities during the ultimate: every Morale stack adds attack damage, the ultimate reduces basic cooldowns, and the eighth stack triggers the stronger second rally.

Late Game

You are a utility carry whose damage ramps during the fight. Push safely, shield the hostile effect that would stop you attacking, and spend On the Hunt (Ult) on a committed engage or disengage rather than a moment with no champions to hit. Use Boomerang Blade (1st) and Ricochet (2nd) to build Morale quickly, then exploit the refreshed duration, extra attack damage, and second movement-speed boost at eight stacks.

Teamfights

Speed up the right moment. Open with On the Hunt (Ult) when your team can commit, then use its reduced basic cooldowns to cycle Boomerang Blade (1st), Ricochet (2nd), and Spell Shield (3rd) while champion hits build Morale. Ricochet's (2nd) cast resets the attack timer, so weave it immediately after an attack. Stay behind the frontline and save Spell Shield (3rd) for the hostile effect that would interrupt your damage long enough to lose the eight-stack rally.
