Build Black Cleaver when you can apply repeated physical damage and your team benefits from shredding the same target's Armor.

- AD bruisers, ability-based fighters, and physical casters with rapid multi-hit damage.
- Good against
- Strong into Armor-stacking frontliners and Plated Steelcaps, especially with multiple physical teammates; inefficient for one-shot patterns that cannot stack Sunder.
- When to buy it
- Often a first or second core item because its balanced stats and teamwide Armor reduction shape early skirmishes.
