Overview

Xayah controls the Dragon lane with the feathers she leaves on the ground. Every ability drops blades behind her targets, and calling them back roots everything they pass through. Her trading pattern is slow and deliberate: scatter feathers, set the angle, then pull the root through the enemy duo. Her ultimate makes her briefly untargetable while raining blades, a defensive tool most carries never get. Her game is positioning and patience. Feathers reward players who plant the angle a few seconds before the trade, and the root plus ultimate means she can lock down a target and survive the dive that answers. She is a teamfight carry who brings her own peel. The costs are a weak early game, fragility to burst, and needing her feathers placed before the fight rather than during it.

The self-peel ultimate lets you take fight angles other carries cannot survive: blade up, go untouchable, and keep dealing damage through their engage. Plant feathers before the fight starts; the player who sets the angle early wins the trade that follows.

Late Game

You are a teamfight carry who peels for herself. Scatter feathers as the fight develops, pull the root through their clustered formation, and rain sustained AoE while your ultimate answers whatever dives you. Stand behind your frontline, but worry less about the flank than most carries do; your ultimate is the escape their assassin did not plan for. The key skill is feather timing: the root only catches targets you placed feathers around.

Teamfights
