Twitch Jungle
Twitch jungle counters include Lee Sin, Xin Zhao, and Rengar. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3A.
How to play
- Respect every early invade You are very weak in isolated jungle fights. Ward an entrance, track the enemy jungler and give up a camp when your laners cannot help.
- Use early cheesy ganks to get ahead Look for a level 2 or 3 camouflage gank on an exposed lane with allied setup. Leave quickly if it is covered or fails; waiting around loses your camps.
- Build AP and stack poison first Buy Nashor's Tooth, Rabadon's Deathcap and Statikk Shiv. Reveal from a safe angle, apply poison with attacks and your 2nd ability, then use your 3rd ability before the target escapes.

Strengths
- Camouflage gives early surprise ganks an angle that standard river wards may miss when enemies are outside its detection range.
- AP scaling on poison, the stack detonation and Nashor's Tooth creates sustained damage plus a finishing burst.
- Shiv and piercing ultimate attacks help apply pressure to several grouped enemies.
Weaknesses
- Extremely vulnerable to early invades, isolated duels and counterganks.
- Relies on early cheesy ganks to get ahead; failed attempts can leave him without kills, camps or experience.
- No reliable escape after revealing beyond Flash, and crowd control stops the attacks needed to build poison.
Why this build
This is an AP jungle build: Nashor's Tooth first, Rabadon's Deathcap second and Statikk Shiv third, followed by Riftmaker and Zhonya's Hourglass. AP improves Deadly Venom (Passive), the magic portion of Contaminate (3rd) and Nashor's Tooth, while attack speed gets the stacks onto targets. Shiv spreads on-hit effects through secondary enemies. These purchases reward a successful opening; they do not make Twitch a safe farming jungler or fix his early invade weakness.

Situational choices
Keep Nashor's Tooth, Deathcap and Shiv as the default core. Replace Riftmaker with magic penetration, anti-heal, anti-shield or a health burn when the enemy draft requires it. Choose Banshee's Veil instead of Zhonya's Hourglass when a spell shield protects your firing window better. If the early cheese fails, adapt your pathing and play with teammates; buying AP does not justify contesting every camp alone.

Twitch Jungle Counters
Who counters Twitch Jungle in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Twitch in the jungle matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.
- Lee Sin: Lee Sin can invade early, reveal Twitch through damage and follow his escape with another dash. Ward the entrance and path away from his starting side when possible; give up a camp if your laners cannot move instead of taking an isolated duel.
- Xin Zhao: Xin Zhao can close the gap and win a sustained early attack trade before Twitch stacks enough poison. Avoid meeting him at an unprotected camp or Scuttle, and choose ganks on the opposite side when your lanes cannot cover the entrance.
- Rengar: Rengar's brush jumps let him reach Twitch before camouflage provides a safe retreat, especially inside jungle corridors. Keep vision on brush entrances and travel with a teammate once he can threaten an ultimate pick; do not face-check your own stolen camps.
- Kha'Zix: Kha'Zix punishes Twitch's isolated clearing with burst and a leap that follows his first retreat. Keep nearby allies informed, surrender camps you cannot defend, and avoid a solo river path just because camouflage hides you from distant vision.
- Nidalee: Nidalee can invade quickly and force Twitch off camps with spear damage before he has a strong AP purchase. Track her entrance and trade to a safe part of the map with lane support, rather than chasing her through walls after losing health.
Champions Twitch Is Strong Against
Twitch's best matchups in Wild Rift. Twitch holds an edge against these picks in the jungle role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.
- Amumu: Amumu often wants grouped fights and a stable opening clear, giving Twitch a chance to attack an exposed lane first with camouflage. Track his route before committing, because a countergank with his stun can kill Twitch before poison stacks are ready.
- Rammus: The AP build puts more of Twitch's damage into magic and true damage, making Rammus's armor less effective against the whole combo. Attack with allied protection and respect his taunt and reflected damage; this is not permission to duel him alone.
- Shyvana: Shyvana's farming opening can give Twitch a window to gank before she gains her transformation. Convert that surprise into a real lane advantage, then track her objective moves instead of assuming an early kill lets you fight her in the river.
- Dr. Mundo: Dr. Mundo usually offers Twitch a better early gank race than an aggressive invading assassin does. Pressure an exposed laner while tracking his clear, and do not waste the opening on a long chase through slows and healing in Mundo's jungle.
- Cho'Gath: Cho'Gath's delayed knock-up gives Twitch a chance to sidestep and keep applying poison from behind a teammate. Use camouflage to reach a vulnerable lane first, but leave the river if his control and an enemy laner can trap you together.
Early Game
Ask teammates to cover entrances, place vision and choose a starting route that reduces contact with the enemy jungler. Start Contaminate (3rd) for the opening camp and take Ambush (1st) for an early gank window when a lane is exposed. A level 2 or 3 cheesy gank with allied control is your main way to build a lead, but it must have a believable target. Do not spend a full camp cycle waiting behind a warded lane. If the target backs away or the gank fails, return to safe camps immediately. You are very weak to invades: do not fight an early duelist at your buff or Scuttle without nearby lane priority. Trade to the other side only when it is safe, concede the camp when necessary, and preserve your life and experience. Camouflage is delayed and does not protect you from enemies who are already close enough to detect you.
Mid Game
Use the advantage from early ganks to finish Nashor's Tooth and work toward Deathcap. Clear between plays and enter enemy territory only with vision and lanes that can move. Gank through a cleared angle, let an ally supply the first control, then apply Venom Cask (2nd) and repeated attacks before Contaminate (3rd). If you fell behind, stay near allied protection and collect safe camps instead of trying to repair the game with another unsupported invade. At objectives, reveal only after your frontline can hold the entrance. Keep Smite ready and remember that poison damage is not a dependable secure against the opposing jungler's Smite.
Late Game
Let allies check brush and control the approach before you look for an angle. Twitch remains fragile even with a completed AP build, and dying before Baron or Elder removes both damage and Smite. Use Spray and Pray (Ult) from behind protection when a flank is unsafe, spread poison across reachable targets and preserve Flash for the enemy who can actually reach you.
Teamfights
Open with Ambush (1st) from a safe position after the enemy has committed its main engage. Use Spray and Pray (Ult) to reach through the frontline, and place Venom Cask (2nd) where the slow helps you keep attacking. Build several poison stacks before Contaminate (3rd), but detonate sooner if the target is about to leave range or you are about to be disabled. Reposition between attacks; do not stand inside the enemy team just because several targets are poisoned. Zhonya's Hourglass can protect you after committing damage, but you cannot fire while in stasis.
