Build Void Staff when enemy Magic Resistance is the main reason your AP damage has fallen off and maximum percent penetration matters more than utility.
- Best on
- AP carries and mages responsible for damaging MR-stacking frontliners.
- Good against
- Excellent against multiple MR items, Mercury's Treads, Chainlaced Crushers, and tanks; inefficient as an early purchase into entirely low-MR squishies.
- When to buy it
- Usually third or fourth, but move it earlier when two or more enemies rush meaningful Magic Resistance.
