- Health-stacking tanks and bruisers that can refresh the shield between enemy spell rotations.

- Excellent against burst mages, AP poke, and magic-heavy teams; weaker into sustained mixed damage and anti-shield effects such as Oceanid's Trident.
- When to buy it
- Second or third defensive item after some Health, or earlier when one fed AP champion is the only threat that matters.
