Yone Jungle
Yone jungle counters include Lee Sin, Xin Zhao, and Jax. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3A.
How to play
- Farm toward your item spikes Keep attacking between 1st ability casts and sweep grouped monsters with your 2nd ability. Finish safe camps before forcing a gank that costs more farm than it can earn.
- Prepare the knockup before ganking Hit a camp twice with your 1st ability, then approach before the charge expires. Start your 3rd ability from a protected position and use the knockup to help your laner follow.
- Keep Smite in range Fight beside your team around objectives and track your spirit timer. Finish the spirit exchange before committing to the secure so a forced return cannot pull you out of the pit.

Strengths
- Strong item scaling and sustained mixed damage reward consistent camp income.
- A prepared knockup and long-range ultimate give threatening follow-up to allied control.
- Spirit-form trades let Yone pressure an entrance and return to a protected position before an objective starts.
Weaknesses
- Early invaders can exploit his item dependence and the time needed to prepare a knockup.
- A missed engage leaves a melee carry exposed while the enemy can move toward his visible return point.
- Forced spirit returns can interrupt a chase or pull Yone away from a crucial objective secure.
Why this build
Yone is an A-tier jungle carry who turns regular farming into strong skirmishes and objective fights. Blade of the Ruined King supplies the first attack-speed and sustain spike, followed by Immortal Shieldbow and Infinity Edge for crit damage and protection. Death's Dance helps the melee commitment, while Lord Dominik's Regard covers armored targets later. Build the gold lead through efficient routes and realistic ganks rather than treating every river encounter as a duel you must win.

Situational Items
Situational choices
Choose Bone Plating over Overgrowth against threatening early invaders, or Perseverance against heavy reducible control. Defensive boots can be worth delaying maximum attack speed when staying alive preserves the next camp cycle. Mortal Reminder replaces Lord Dominik's Regard against healing; Guardian Angel or Mercurial Scimitar can replace Death's Dance when revival or a cleanse is more valuable for the enemy composition.

Yone Jungle Counters
Who counters Yone Jungle in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Yone in the jungle matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.
- Lee Sin: Lee Sin can invade before Yone's attack-speed and crit purchases make extended skirmishes comfortable. Keep nearby lanes in mind, preserve Flash when your knockup is unavailable, and do not place the spirit body where his team can wait after a kick separates you from allies.
- Xin Zhao: Xin Zhao's gap close and repeated attacks can force an early duel before Yone has time to build a useful knockup. Path toward allied priority, respect the third-hit knockup, and trade camps across the map when a direct river contest lacks support.
- Jax: Jax can dodge Yone's attacks with Counter Strike (3rd), then stun him and follow with a leap when he tries to disengage. Hold the valuable attack sequence until the dodge ends and avoid using spirit form from a return point Jax can easily camp.
- Rammus: Rammus punishes Yone's repeated attacks with reflected damage and a taunt that can consume his spirit window. Avoid committing into the defensive stance, let allied magic damage soften him, and find another target rather than assuming mixed damage makes the duel free.
- Kha'Zix: Kha'Zix can punish an isolated Yone between camps, especially when his knockup is unprepared and his health is low. Ward entrances, move toward allies to reduce isolation pressure, and keep the return point covered so stealth cannot set up another burst as spirit form ends.
Champions Yone Is Strong Against
Yone's best matchups in Wild Rift. Yone holds an edge against these picks in the jungle role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.
- Dr. Mundo: Mundo's health-heavy build gives Yone's Blade of the Ruined King repeated value once the first item is complete. Dodge the cleaver slow, account for his crowd-control protection before committing the knockup, and buy anti-heal when his ultimate is preventing the finish.
- Shyvana: Shyvana's direct approach gives Yone a clear line for his knockup and a chance to take a timed spirit-form trade. Fight away from her empowered ground damage and return to a protected position instead of standing still through every attack in dragon form.
- Nunu & Willump: Yone can sidestep Nunu's committed snowball and use his prepared knockup to interrupt the channeled ultimate. Win the fight or force Nunu away before taking the objective; a favorable skirmish does not make a bite-and-Smite contest safe.
- Twitch: Twitch is vulnerable when Yone reaches him with a prepared knockup before he has space to kite. Track his early stealth ganks and countergank from vision, then keep attacking through the catch rather than chasing blindly into poison slows and enemy support.
- Lillia: Yone's dashes and chained knockups can deny the spacing Lillia needs for repeated outer-edge swings. Approach with a charged first ability and allied follow-up, then leave before her sleep setup turns an overextended chase into a collapse at your return point.
Early Game
Start Mortal Steel (1st), take Spirit Cleave (2nd) at level 2, then unlock Soul Unbound (3rd). Attack between thrusts and line the sweep across grouped camps. Use the shield while monsters are attacking you and keep them within their leash area; losing a camp to a reset can ruin the timing of the next play. Choose an opening route that finishes near a lane with reliable follow-up or priority. A full clear is a sensible default when lanes offer no clear opening. Take an early gank when the target is exposed and a prepared knockup can connect, then return to camps promptly. Against strong invaders, ward the threatened entrance and give up an unsupported Scuttle contest instead of losing health, Flash and your next camp together. Recall for attack-speed components and work toward level 5 and the first completed item.
Mid Game
Before a gank, prepare the third cast of Mortal Steel (1st) on a nearby safe camp and move while the charge is still available. Let the laner begin with reliable control when possible, then follow with the knockup or Fate Sealed (Ult). Start Soul Unbound (3rd) behind your team's line; the abandoned body cannot be attacked, but enemies can wait at its visible location for your return. After a successful gank, turn the advantage into nearby camps, vision or an objective. Keep farming between ultimate windows so your crit purchases arrive on time. Arrive before dragon or Herald, clear an approach and threaten an enemy walking in. Do not start spirit form outside the pit if its automatic return will remove you from Smite range during the secure.
Late Game
Stay close enough to contest Baron or Elder with your team. Take safe camps and nearby waves when available, but do not become a distant split pusher while holding your team's Smite. A catch on an exposed carry or jungler can create a much safer objective than starting the monster with all enemies missing. Preserve a covered return point, and switch to protecting your own carry when the enemy dive makes a flank too risky.
Teamfights
Follow allied initiation or enter from a cleared side angle after key enemy control has been spent. Aim Fate Sealed (Ult) through a priority target or grouped opponents, then keep attacking while using Spirit Cleave (2nd) to absorb the response. Watch both your active position and the route enemies can take toward the body. Return before the fight surrounds it; do not assume you can always recast while disabled. Near a live objective, finish the spirit exchange and remain in Smite range instead of chasing a carry beyond the pit.
