When Should You Build Armored Advance?

Upgrade to Armored Advance when additional Armor and the defensive Tier 3 effect help you survive concentrated physical damage.

Best on
Tanks, bruisers, and carries that already rely on Plated Steelcaps.
Good against
Strong into AD burst and physical-heavy teams; the shield loses value when the enemy already has substantial anti-shield effects.
When to buy it
Usually a late upgrade and can wait until full build, especially when anti-shield makes its defensive payoff unreliable.
