Singed Baron Lane Wild Rift Guide
Who counters Singed in Wild Rift? The toughest Singed Baron lane counters are Darius, Gnar, and Garen. Full Singed Baron Lane counters and matchups, plus the best build, runes, and game plan for Patch 7.2c.
Overview
Singed does not play your game; he makes you play his. He farms waves behind your tower, leaves a poison trail that hurts anyone who follows him, and flings whoever finally catches up right into his glue. The oldest rule in the game still applies: you do not chase Singed. His value is map pressure. Proxy farming forces the enemy laner to choose between farming the crashed wave and hunting a champion built to survive being hunted, while the enemy jungler wastes minutes on him. Every chase he survives is two enemies doing nothing while his team plays four versus three. Singed scales into a very tanky, ult-boosted disruptor whose teamfight job is running at the enemy backline until something panics. He wins games indirectly, in ways the scoreboard never shows.
Strengths
- Nearly impossible to catch, and chasing him is a famous losing play.
- Proxy farming warps the map, soaking enemy time and attention his team uses elsewhere.
- The fling into glue combo gives elite peel and pick potential while he keeps moving.
Weaknesses
- Low burst and low kill pressure: he wins through attrition, not duels.
- Ranged poke and slows hurt the constant running his whole kit depends on.
- A coordinated enemy can just ignore him, and an ignored Singed struggles to matter.

Singed Baron Lane Counters
Who counters Singed Baron Lane in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Singed in the Baron lane matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.
- Darius: The pull interrupts your escape and the bleed keeps hurting you after you break away, so every honest trade goes his way.
- Gnar: Mini Gnar pokes you at a range you cannot answer and taxes every step of your run, while Mega form has the crowd control, like the wall toss, to actually end your escape.
- Garen: Decisive Strike is one of the few tools fast enough to catch a running Singed, its silence locks your fling on arrival, and his regen heals back the poison you leave on him.
- Jayce: He out-ranges your whole kit, and the accelerated Shock Blast punishes every step of your run. You cannot fling someone who stays a screen away, and his poke chips you even while you proxy.
Champions Singed Is Strong Against
Singed's best matchups in Wild Rift. Singed holds an edge against these picks in the Baron lane role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.
- Irelia: Her dashes need minions and your proxy game keeps taking them away, so she is left chasing a champion who punishes chasing.
- Sion: He cannot catch you, his knockup is easy to dodge while you run, and proxying punishes his slow wave-by-wave lane.
- Camille: Camille has to catch you to matter, and catching you means standing in your poison with a fling waiting. Her true damage only counts in straight fights you never need to take.
- Aatrox: His sweet spots need a stationary target and you never stand still, so the sweeps whiff while your fling breaks his combo. His sustain wants a long brawl that never happens against a champion who keeps running.
Early Game
Run your routine, not theirs. Poison the wave, shove or proxy behind their tower, and force the enemy laner into bad choices over and over. Watch your mana, since his early costs are higher than you expect. Never duel anyone straight up: kite through poison, fling anyone who overcommits onto your glue, and leave. Getting caught with your escape tools ready usually just means the chaser dies in your poison.
Mid Game
Your ultimate plus tank items make you genuinely hard to kill, which turns your nuisance into real pressure. Keep proxying side waves so objectives start five versus four. When fights start, arrive from the flank: glue the choke, fling the carry into your team, and keep running. The enemy has two options: chase you and lose, or ignore you and lose more slowly.
Late Game
You are a disruptor with a win condition. Pop your ultimate, run at the backline, and fling their most important champion into your team; everything after that is cleanup. Between fights your proxy threat still warps the map, since no tower is safe with Singed nearby. Stay disciplined about one thing: never stand still and fight fair. Movement is the entire champion.
Teamfights
Be the wrong thing to focus and the worst thing to ignore. Run in with your ultimate, drop glue across their key choke, fling the priority target into your team, and keep moving so your poison covers as many enemies as possible. If they turn on you, they waste damage into a tank built to take it. If they do not, their carry keeps getting flung. Either way your team fights with an advantage.
