Fiora Baron Lane Wild Rift Guide

Fiora Baron lane counters include Malphite, Jax, and Renekton. See the best build, runes, matchups, and game plan for Wild Rift Patch 7.3.

How to play

  • Hit exposed vitals in short trades Move around your opponent to reach the marked side, then back away after the hit.
  • Save your parry for their key spell Use your 2nd ability as a stun or heavy hit arrives to block it, instead of spending it for a little extra damage.
  • Pressure a side lane Look for one-on-one fights and towers, but back off when several enemies disappear from the map.

Strengths

  • Excellent one-on-one scaling makes her a major side-lane threat once her core items are complete.
  • Riposte (2nd) flips fights, turning the enemy's key stun or engage against them.
  • Elite split pusher whose pressure forces two people to answer or a tower to fall.

Weaknesses

  • Weak early game, and a Fiora who falls behind has very little to offer her team.
  • Mostly single-target: in grouped fights her impact depends on reaching the right person.
  • Depends completely on the parry: misread it and she loses trades she was supposed to win.

Fiora Baron Lane Counters

Who counters Fiora Baron Lane in Wild Rift (WR)? These champions beat Fiora in the Baron lane matchup, with how each one wins. Learn to play around them or ban them in ranked.

  • Malphite: Malphite's armor and Ground Slam (3rd) attack-speed reduction weaken the attacks between Vitals, while repeated Seismic Shard (1st) poke pressures Riposte (2nd) without committing. Riposte (2nd) can negate the damage and crowd control from Unstoppable Force (Ult), but Malphite himself remains unstoppable during the dash, so the timing is less forgiving than against a normal engage.
  • Jax: A mind game between his Counter Strike (3rd) and your Riposte (2nd): whoever reads the other wins the exchange, and he out-scales you in a pure extended duel.
  • Renekton: A pure early-game counter: his fury-empowered stun and front-loaded burst beat you flat through the first levels, but the duel flips hard your way once your items come online.
  • Sett: Grit turns the damage you deal into a true damage punch handed right back, the pull restarts fights you tried to leave, and he heals off the grit you keep filling.

Champions Fiora Is Strong Against

Fiora's best matchups in Wild Rift. Fiora holds an edge against these picks in the Baron lane role, so look to press the advantage and contest objectives.

  • Sion: Sion's maximum-health build increases Fiora's Vital damage, and the long charge on Decimating Smash (1st) gives Riposte (2nd) a readable crowd-control window that can stun him. Step around the shield instead of wasting the full combo into it, then use Grand Challenge (Ult) during his committed charge or ultimate recovery when all four Vitals are accessible.
  • Dr. Mundo: Everything he builds makes your vitals hit harder, his cleavers are easy to sidestep, and outlasting you is the only threat he has.
  • Yone: Yone's spirit form gives him a predictable return point but does not deal snapback damage to himself. Use that position to line up a Vital, and save Riposte (2nd) for the telegraphed knockup from Mortal Steel (1st) or Fate Sealed (Ult) rather than assuming Soul Unbound (3rd) wins the trade for you.
  • Mordekaiser: Mordekaiser is slow, his big health pool makes your vital procs hit harder, and his shield melts faster than he can bank it; only his death realm catching you low is a real threat.
  • Aatrox: Riposte (2nd) can negate Aatrox's knockups or the delayed pull from Infernal Chains (2nd) and stun him if the return strike connects, but blocking only the chain's initial hit does not create a stun. Read the delayed crowd control carefully, because his World Ender (Ult) sustain wins a sloppy extended brawl.

Early Game

Trade only when a vital sits in a good spot. Q (1st) onto the marked side, take the proc and the heal, and step away before minion damage adds up. Save your parry for the spell that defines the matchup (a stun, a pull, a knockup), because a clean parry stun is the biggest swing available in lane. Against bullies and ranged matchups, give ground and farm: your power is in items, and every minion you farm safely brings your spikes closer.

Mid Game

Your first big item turns side-lane duels into your win condition, and Grand Challenge (Ult) reveals all four Vitals on one champion. Triggering all four creates a Victory Zone, and the zone also appears if the marked target dies after you triggered at least one of those Vitals; Fiora and allies standing inside are healed. Shove your lane and split on the opposite side from your team's next objective, forcing a defender you can kill or a free tower. Join the Herald fight only if your team needs you; a Fiora trading one-for-one on the map is usually worth more than a Fiora grouping early.

Late Game

You are the reason the enemy cannot group. Keep a side lane permanently pushed, duel whoever they send (with items, that fight is yours against almost anyone), and ult the tank if they send one, since vitals plus true damage cut straight through big health bars. The map math is simple: they send one, you kill them; they send two, your team plays four against three at the objective. Just do not get caught between waves with your parry down.

Teamfights

Hunt one target and make it count. Flank, Q (1st) onto the carry or ult the frontliner blocking your path, and parry the scariest answer they throw back. Triggering all four Grand Challenge (Ult) Vitals, or helping kill the marked target after triggering at least one, drops a heal zone that can win a long fight for allies standing inside it. If they are too grouped to enter, do not force it. Stand at the edge, threaten the flank, and remember that pressuring a side lane often helps your team more than joining the fight.
